For centuries we have been trying to argue our humanity against racists. We have performed respectability and code switched in order to be safe and accepted. We have worn the burden of self defense against racists for far too long and the truth is none of it has worked. We are no closer to defeating racism than we were in 1865 when we allegedly earned our freedom. The truth is racism should have never been legitimized and acknowledged as rational or tolerable. It is the game of low IQ ignorant insecure people with a chip on their shoulder hoping that tearing someone else down will life them up. I do not believe in debating with racists because I don't believe racism is worthy of debate. Instead of continuing to legitimize and feed into racists we should shame and condemn them, that's the intention of this shirt. May it send the message that racism is unworthy of energy and the extinction of it is the only acceptable solution.
